Quick Take, American Idol, "New Orleans, LA Auditions"
Talent and wonderfulness and full abundance in The Big Easy.

Review, American Idol, "New Orleans, LA Auditions"
(S1002) A shorter episode than the last, but no less talent and wonderfulness were in abundance. And you know, this episode's relative shortness is perfect for another reason: there really is such a thing as too much good stuff. Three hours of Idol in 24 hours is just short of musical overload, but thankfully, there's lots of really good singing to keep it from blowing the ol' circuits.
Best of Auditions #2: Piano Teacher, The Abs (who, oddly, wasn't in the Jersey episode) Who Sang Spanish, The Girl Who Knew Randy (and had an amazing voice), The Ginger (us redheads need to stick together), The Good Mom, and my personal favorite, The Kid With Soul. I'll even call him by name, I loved him so much -- Jacee Badeaux, the fifteen-year-old kid-brother sort who really wailed on "Dock of the Bay." This kid's great. All quiet and sort of awkward like he hasn't even hit puberty yet, and then he lets out that Voice. Brilliant.
This show is really off to a fantastic start.
