Breaking Bad Season Four promotional poster is extremely volatile

Flip the switches, everyone. We’re putting Breaking Bad on TV Geek Army super fan status, which means that as we do with shows like Mad Men (all praise be to thee, AMC), we’re covering the build up to the new season with rabid speculation, interest, and all due fixation and unhealthily obsessive interest.

What have we got for you? It’s always cool to see promotional posters, which give you that first tantalizingly bare scent of what will be coming. And WARNING: EXTREMELY VOLATILE sits perfectly with a continuation of what I am now thinking of as one of the most thrilling, suspenseful, and powerful seasons of television I have ever seen.

And to get your Breaking Bad juices flowing even more, check out this teaser trailer of sorts, which matches a haunting piano track over some of last season’s highlights and voiceover dialog that sets things up very nicely indeed for what’s coming:

Check out what AMC says about the same: “Once you break bad, you never go back. In Season 4, the game has changed: Walter White has lost his family and is on the verge of being caught; Jesse wants back in the business. Breaking Bad returns on July 17, 2011.”

One of the many great things about Breaking Bad is the very real sense that the story is going somewhere. There will be very real (and very dire in some cases) consequences to the decision by Walter White to break bad.

You know that we are going to be glued to AMC on July 17th at 10pm (9 Central) for the Season Four premiere, and we recommend that you run out for the liquid adhesive well in advance.
