It’s almost too good to be true. Except it is true. It is true, right?

Yes, it’s true, Voice in My Head says before further advising me to stop writing like a crazy person because Then They’ll Know.
That is to say that Freaks and Geeks and Adventureland and Party Down standout Martin Starr is set to join Community’s Greendale Community College for its upcoming Season Three. He will play a political science professor and project advisor.
It remains to be seen whether Starr's new professorial role will be performed with his classic caustic and jaded-beyond-doom style or if we’ll see a different side of the actor as he plays against Joel McHale and crew.
If that’s not enough for you, Michael K. Williams (he of “oh indeed” and more recently Boardwalk Empire fame) will also be appearing as a “fresh-out-of-jail biology professor” while John Goodman (who bailed out, literally, on Treme just in time it seems) will play the Vice Dean of the School of Air Conditioning Repair, which just might be the most awesome academic fake title ever.
Community has done a great job of sprinkling stellar talent into an already large ensemble cast. The use of professors is an easy and seamless plot device with which to do this, such as when Betty White showed up as a zany Anthropology professor (to whit: “She kicks things off by shooting a blow dart into Star-Burn's, uh, star burn”).
Community mostly maintained its scintillating pace during Season Two so I remain hopeful that the upcoming edition will further cement it as one of the best comedies on television in recent years.

Martin Starr! Oh this is exciting! He was my favorite thing about Adventureland. Have you seen his fake training videos for Adventureland? I actually think I like those little extras better than the movie itself.
Adventureland is seriously one of my favorite movies of the last 10 years, and maybe of ever.
Haven't seen the training vids, need to check it out !
