After getting four nominations in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series category, Modern Family adds two more 2011 Emmy nominations in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category. Jane Lynch, last year's winner and this year's host, is nominated again, which means if she wins this year it would be kind of interesting from a show management perspective. Jane Krakowski got a deserving nomination after I felt Jenna Maroney, who she portrays on 30 Rock, went really off the rails last season, which to be fair was not entirely Krakowski's fault. Also, apparently the love for Betty White isn't dead yet.

Nominees:
Who Should Win
Kristen Wiig is one of the strongests on Saturday Night Live, and Lynch is still a tremendous comedic performer, but my vote goes to Krakowski. Jenna is a ridiculous character, but Krakowski's performance helps keep it from getting too out there, and she can sing to boot!
Who Will Win
Betty White. Why? Because she's Betty White. The Emmys are exactly the kind of place somebody like White will get rewarded, even if it is almost entirely a lifetime achievement award. Eventually, the White revolution will end, but it won't be this year. All hail Betty White.
