For those unfamilar, H.R. Pufnstuf -- who this Sid & Marty Krofft series is named after -- is a tsualking dragon and also the mayor of Living Island.  Throughout the series, he and most of the island's inhabitants try to help a young human boy named Jimmy (Jack Wild) return home while thwarting Witchiepoo (Billie Hayes) from getting her hands on Jimmy's talking flute Freddie.

The three-disc set contains all 17 episodes, which originally aired from September 6, 1969 to September 4, 1971.  Also included is the DVD extra Horror Hotel from the Krofft Superstar Hour. The set is available wherever DVDs are sold at a suggested list price of $24.99 and also comes in a Collector’s Edition, which includes a H.R. Pufnstuf bobblehead, for $34.97.

To enter for a chance to win the prize, send an e-mail to cinemasentries @ gmail .com (no spaces) with your name and the title of your favorite Saturday morning TV show (H.R. Pufnstuf is a viable option).  For a second chance, leave a comment below.  The winner will be picked at random from the entries and is restricted to a resident of the United States or Canada.

And check out Cinema Sentries for top notch movie reviews and more!
