Jersey Shore's rageaholic Ronnie decks The Situation in Italy

Before the Jersey Shore cast packed up their creams and clears and headed to Italy to shoot Season Three of the hit MTV show, Florence's mayor issued a list of rules for the guidos and guidettes to follow while visiting his city. The list included things like "The cast will not be filmed in bars and clubs that serve alcohol," and "The cast will not be filmed drinking in public," "The show will not be filmed to promote Florence as a drinking town," and "The show should be filmed in a manner to promote Italy (not Americans visiting Italy) and feature its culture and good food."

Conspicuously missing from the list is something along the lines of "A cast member should not (allegedly) reunite yet again with another cast member and revive a rotting zombie corpse of a relationship, a relationship that has literally ruined dozens of otherwise excellent episodes," and "A cast member should not (allegedly) pummel another cast member in the face and then stroll down the street the next day acting like it's no big deal."

So, according to TMZ, during filming earlier in the week, Ronnie and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino got into a physical altercation that left Mike with major redness on and around his left eye and Ronnie with bloody knuckles. The gossip site was unable to provide many details about the fight, but indications are that it began with big kerfuffle between Ms. "Sweetheart" AKA Sammi and Mr. "That's One Shot, Kid" AKA Ronnie. Shocker.

Yesterday, MTV released a follow-up to the TMZ story on its Remote Control blog that features a picture of Ronnie walking with Vinny and Pauly. The picture shows Ronnie lifting his shirt as if to mock The Situation's trademark pose. However, it is just as likely that Ronnie, a longtime suspected steroids abuser, was just showing his friends some good locations for discreet injection sites.
