With the Emmy nominations soon to be announced (nominees will be announced by Joel McHale and Melissa MCarthy tomorrow, July 14th), here is a wish list of five people/shows I would like to see on the ballots. Look for the full list of nominees and reaction to it tomorrow.

1. John Noble for best supporting actor – The third season of Fringe has been the best so far and Noble has really shown his acting skills playing both Walter and Walternate. Noble has been snubbed so far, let’s hope that the third time is a charm for him.
2. All things Friday Night Lights – Seeing Friday Night Lights nominated as best drama, Kyle Chandler for best actor in a drama and Connie Britton for best actress in a drama would be amazing. The fifth and final season of the show was fantastic. Equally fantastic were Chandler and Britton as Coach Eric Taylor and his wife Tami. They were nominated last year, but I think both of them deserve another nomination and eventually the win for the Texas high school football-centric drama.
3. Love for Cougar Town – I would definitely like to see Cougar Town nominated for best comedy, Courtney Cox for best actress in a comedy, and Busy Phillips for best supporting actress in a comedy... or at least one of these to happen. This show is so underrated just because of its name and it really shined in the second season. It is time to give Cougar Town the recognition it deserves.
4. Nominations for Justified and Timothy Olyphant – Justified is a great show and deserves a slot in the best drama category. Olyphant is perfect as U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens and I think that it is time to make a little room for him on the best actor in a drama list.
5. Community (and not Glee) for best comedy – I did love Glee early on, but the second season made me turn from love to like. It was just so-so and I think that Community deserves a spot more than Glee does. It wouldn’t hurt to nominate Joel McHale either for best actor in a comedy to boot.

All great selections Erin, would get my vote !
Could not agree more with 1+5. John Noble's Walter Bishop is scintillating. He pulls off such a quick succession of emotions flowing in and out of one another so perfectly! I also think I'm one of the few who thinks Anna Torv deserves the honour for her Olivia / Fauxlivia performance this year, but it could be her only chance for the character.
Community is refreshing, and I'm a sucker for any metaverse / metaperformance / metaetc.
