While the most recent Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert, has been celebrating her engagement to season "winner" JP Rosenbaum, a wedding date for another Bachelorette has been postponed. Ali Fedotowsky, the Season Six Bachelorette, had to change her wedding date with her chosen suitor from the show, Roberto Martinez.

Don’t be too quick to judge as to why: Fedotowsky recently had surgery to fix an injury to her femur and she would rather not walk down the aisle with a limp. She told People magazine that, “The decision to postpone was very difficult. I definitely shed some tears, but I want to walk down the aisle. I don't want to limp down the aisle."
She and Martinez have been engaged now for over a year when he proposed to her at the end of the sixth season of The Bachelorette in August 2010. Fedotowsky didn’t reveal the actual date that had been set and only said that it had passed already. No news of a new wedding date for the twosome has been given either.
The couple look like a good fit for one another and it is nice to see that they are still together. Hopefully they won’t have to wait too long to have their happy ending. The track record for lasting Bachelor/Bachelorette relationships is not that amazing of course, an average brought down further by the reason revelation that two-time Bachelor and Season 15 winner Emily Maynard's relationship has ended.
And then of course there's Season 14, wherein Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi's magical ending turned into a nightmare quickly. ABC and the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise seem not to be embarrassed by this in the least, as we'll see the former couple back in action along with many other show alumni this summer on Bachelor Pad 2, which premieres August 8th at 8pm.

They do seem like a strong couple, but I wouldn't exactly be shocked if there's something else going on as well simply due to the show's track record !
