Tonight we say goodbye to one of the best characters on television. There will never be anybody quite like Michael Scott, regional manager of Dunder Mifflin Scranton, and I don’t think The Office will ever be the same without him. In honor of Steve Carell and his beloved character Michael Scott, I have put together a list of my favorite Michael moments. Be sure to tune in tonight at 9pm on NBC as we say farewell to Michael.

10. Pam’s art show, “Business School,” Season Three
This moment shows the softer side of Michael Scott. No one from the office shows up to Pam’s art show besides Michael, and it shows how much he does care about his employees. He even buys Pam’s picture of the Scranton Business Park to hang on the office wall.
9. Willy Wonka, “Golden Ticket,” Season Five
Michael gets the brilliant plan to place 10% off paper “golden ticket” coupons, Willy Wonka style, in boxes of paper that are being sent off from the warehouse. His plan backfires when he puts them in boxes that are going to the same company and they end up getting a huge discount because of all the golden tickets. When corporate calls he puts the blame on Dwight, but corporate likes the idea and therefore all the credit goes to Dwight. The best part of this clip is the way Michael is dressed.
8. Café Disco is a success, “Café Disco,” Season Five
"Café Disco" is one of my favorite Office episodes. After surrendering his paper company (The Michael Scott Paper Company) to Dunder Mifflin, Michael decides to dub the extra office space as Café Disco to give the employees a place to drink coffee, dance, and have a good time. Michael makes several attempts to get everyone to join in and they finally do when Erin and Kelly get the party started. Pam and Jim even join in on the fun, which pleases Michael.
7. Michael Kisses Oscar, “Gay Witch Hunt,” Season Three
I think that this moment classifies as one of the most awkward Michael Scott moments of all time. After outing Oscar by accident, Michael calls a meeting to discuss the situation and ends up kissing Oscar to prove that he is okay with him being gay.
6. Dance Contest, “Booze Cruise,” Sseason Two
While on the Wallenpaupack Cruise on their office retreat, Michael is supposed to be motivating the team, but gets involved in a dance contest instead. Watching Michael attempt the worm is one of his funniest moments.
5. Prison Mike, “The Convict,” Season Three
When the staffers find out that one of the Stamford transfers is a former convict, they ask him about prison and come to the conclusion that prison would be better than working at Dunder Mifflin. Michael brings out “Prison Mike” to prove them wrong.
4. Trouble in the bathroom, ‘The Injury,” Season Two
This is one of the best Michael-centric episodes in series history. Michael loves to wake up to the smell of bacon, so he puts a George Foreman grill next to his bed. Michael ends up burning his foot and insists on coming to the office instead of staying home to heal.
3. Teaching diversity, “Diversity Day,” Season One
"Diversity Day" is a classic Office episode in every way. Michael tries to teach the employees about diversity, but doesn’t really do it in the most appropriate way.
2. Seasons of Michael, “Michael’s Last Dundies,” Season Seven
After Michael’s last gig of being the Dundies host, the gang sings him a tribute song. The fact that Steve Carell’s tears seem real shows how much meaning this scene has.
1. Michael proposes to Holly, “Garage Sale,” Season Seven
This entire episode is packed full of great Michael moments. From his trying to have a fiery proposal to the actual popping of the question, the episode showcases Michal and Holly at thier best. It also features the moment that he realizes he would rather leave with Holly than stay at Dunder Mifflin.
The “Faces of Michael” will surely be missed and kudos to Steve Carell for creating one of the best characters that television has given us.

Amazing job Erin and fantastic warm up for tonight's sen off into The Office sunset !
I can't believe you didn't include my favorite Michael Scott moment:
"I'll see your situation and raise you a situation."
