I'm not sure why, but I'm surprised by how much I enjoy NBC's Up All Night on a weekly basis. Perhaps it's because it seems like a concept (busy parents contend with raising a baby) that's contrived and beat into the very earth. But the cast is marvelous (it's great to see Will Arnett get to play a semi-grounded guy for once, and the chemistry with Christina Applegate terrific) and the writing is sharp and funny.
Therefore, as sad as it is (and trust us, it is) to not see Community in its rightful Thursday night slot, Up All Night paired with Parks and Recreation makes for just about the strongest hour of comedy that you can find on the air at the moment.
Enjoy the Weird & Wonderful section below, that we've just brought back. It goes along with our continuing fascination with the bizarre and beautiful array of shows that one can find around the dial on any given night.
