You know you're a TV geek when you think about the days of the week based on the types (and quality) of the shows on each night.

Sunday always seems to have several powerhouse dramas by way of AMC and HBO, Monday typically has a bunch of reality shows that help us to tune out at the beginning of the work week, and Thursday's NBC lineup alone lets me know that the weekend is coming and some of the best comedies on television to help us get ready for it.
Tuesdays of late have become surprisingly strong, on the strength of three dramas – Southland, Justified, Ringer – that make for a fabulously entertaining block of mid-week viewing. It's interesting to look at those three shows and see them on a spectrum where you have the gritty realism of cops in LA on Southland, a quirky drama in Justified about a U.S. marshal that often has its tongue in cheek, and finally the over-the-top soapy extravagance that is Ringer.
Add to all of that the recent return of the delightful Cougar Town, and I am digging the small screen of a Wednesday.
