TV Geek Army Field Report: all hail cable edition

When I look at tonight’s TV lineup, I immediately get excited about such shows as HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and Bored to Death, Showtime’s Dexter, and particularly AMC’s stellar new show, The Walking Dead, which airs its second episode tonight at 10:00.

HBO, Showtime, AMC. Not a lot of broadcast networkness in there. Actually, none.
