If there’s one thing I’d like to point out in a night absolutely packed to the rafters with television (good, bad, and ugly, just as it should be) it would be this: if you’re not watching Community on NBC, you should be.
It is an absolutely scorching hot comedy right now that is lighting it up week after week. The last two episodes, which featured equally loony and hysterical parodies of religion/meta-fiction and zombie flicks respectively, were comedy gems that easily rank with the best comedic exploits on TV in recent years. Tonight’s episode, “Aerodynamics of Gender,” looks to have a very Mean Girls vibe, so look for nods to Tina Fey’s creation (who of course helps to helm her own little gem, 30 Rock, which is seeing a resurgent season itself).
