I find that I don’t “flip through the channels” as often as I used to. My TV watching life has been altered so irrevocably by the DVR that sitting through commercials or wading through vast numbers of random cable channels has become a thing of the past.
But every once in a while I take a little adventure specifically in order to attempt to stumble across something glorious. Or hideous. Or gloriously hideous. I’m not picky, really.
And, one night, one magical night, I stumbled across Spike’s MANswers, a show so unabashedly octane- and Red Bull-infused that it pounds you across and upside the face with its unrelenting cheesy fury, and I had found the gold at the end of the rainbow my friends. I had found my personal Oz.
