Welcome to a newly redesigned TV Geek Army

Just in time for the holidays, we’re unveiling a redesigned TV Geek Army!

Please let us know what you think and if you have any issues or ideas as we work out the kinks.

A major visual change is that we’ve “collapsed” a lot of the excess space at the top of the page, while the much more compact navigation maintains its position as you scroll down the page.

Note that the “social bar” has moved from the bottom of the page to the upper left on each page. Please retweet and Facebook share and +1 our stories liberally!

And we’ve made a bunch of really cool changes to the right column. On the upper right side, we have a couple of colorful shout outs for the season. The first is a reminder that as you’re shopping on Amazon – something most of us are doing a ton of already to ship gifts to friends and family out of town – please simply click on the strange looking man in the ad first. This allows TVGA to get a little percentage of the sale… and we all win!

And the second ad is for our original e-book, A Mad Men Mixer. It’s an intoxicating and refreshing guide to Mad Men’s first season, a must have for your Mad Men-obsessed peoples this holiday season! It’s just $2.99 and available now on many online stores “near you”!

Then we have a “featured story” bloc that I’m really excited about. Right now, we feature several stories on the front page of the site, but haven’t had a way to do that on every page of the site… until now. Following that is a brand new feature that plucks out the most popular stories of the day for your perusal. And then we have recent comments as well.

The result is that TV Geek Army is now more streamlined and provides a lot more and better ways to get the best and hottest stories at any given time.

Now please dive in and enjoy!

Now that Paul Kinsey (Michael Gladis) made a brief but splashy and phenomenal return during last night's Mad Men episode, "Christmas Waltz," there remains only one significant advertising pro from the early seasons who has not made an appearance in the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce era.
