Review: Bachelor Pad 3, "Week 2"
(S0302) The drama really cranked up this week on Bachelor Pad and it doesn’t seem like it is going to stop anytime soon.

Another challenge was in store for the housemates first thing in the morning after the night of the first elimination. A trio of gymnasts greeted the gang out in front of the house and it was clear what the day had in store for them.

Chris Harrison tells the group that the guys and girls each have to perform a gymnastics routine in front of a panel of judges. The judges then are going to award a rose to the best man and woman of the performances with them voting on the worst too. Each worst performer was going to have a vote against them at the next rose ceremony.

After the girls and guys changed into their spandex outfits, it is revealed that the judges are Olympic gymnast Tasha Schwikert along with former Bachelorette Ashley and her fiancé JP. Watching both groups during their performances, it was clear that the guys were more impressive than the girls. Erica was trying her best, but was terrible at everything. Fans Donna and David knew they had to step up their game in order to not be eliminated. On the men’s side Michael gets the rose and Blakeley wins among the girls. Worst performance goes to Ed and Erica, no surprise there. Chris is not happy about Blakeley winning since he knows she will pick him for the date and he is trying to get out of that partnership. Michael and Blakeley get to take three people with them on their dates.

Michael decides to take Donna, Rachel and Lindzi with him to a concert. Since he had already won the money last season on ‘Bachelor Pad’, he decided that this go around he was here for love. He spends time with Donna, but throws Rachel into the mix too. A make out session with Donna and Rachel is in the works, grossly showing too much of Donna’s tongue, but Lindzi is barely seen. Rachel ends up getting the rose, much to Donna’s dismay.

Back at the house the rest of the pad mates were celebrating Jamie’s birthday. She wanted alone time with Chris, but was snagged away by her partner Ryan who sweetly made her a cake, got her sushi and flowers and decorated her bunk bed. She is nice enough to enjoy everything, but is secretly planning her betrayal and wants to be with Chris. Ryan lets it slip that Chris told him he was going to stay partners with Blakeley and Jamie doesn’t understand why. She goes to find Chris, but he is busy kissing Blakeley in her bed, which happens to be right below Jamie’s. Chris is playing Blakeley a little longer since she had won the challenge that day.

The next day, Blakeley takes Ed, Chris and David on her date where they do some soapbox racing. Ed wins the race, receiving a trophy, but it is Chris that takes the rose home from the date. David tried to persuade Blakeley to choose him, but she wasn’t going to betray her partner.

When they get back home it is party time. Everyone gets drunk, some girls make out and Ed gets lucky with Sarah. It is still gross that they have a night vision cam for the “hook up bedroom”. Don’t really need to see what is happening in there, but we are still given a visual. After everyone is asleep, the twins are still awake and are arguing. According to everyone, they had been arguing all day long and they continued until sunrise. Blakleley had the best response with "I have no idea what started it. I don't know, maybe a door shut? Maybe a light went off?". The girls cannot see eye to eye and in the end they decide to go home.

With the twins gone, it is good news for the household, but especially for the ladies. For the rose ceremony, only a guy will be voted off. Even though it seems obvious that David should be sent home, Kalon puts it into Lindzi’s ear that Ryan should be sent home just because “he is annoying”. She recruits a few of the other girls to go along with it. Reid hears of the plan and gets to work by telling Donna, Sarah, Erica and Jamie to vote for Ed, since he already has a vote against him. Feeling bad for what she did, Sarah spills the beans to Ed even though Ed has been conspiring with Jaclyn.

Jamie is the deciding vote of the night and even though Chris went behind her back, she wants to stay in that alliance. Jamie votes for Ed, proving that women are attracted to jerks and that nice guys finish last. Poor Ryan is thrown under the bus by his own partner and is sent packing for no reason.

What was most disappointing this week: Jamie betraying Ryan or Lindzi seen cuddling with Kalon? I thought she had better sense then that! It seems that it might not work out for either Jamie or Lindzi with the decisions they are making. It is hard to keep up with all the drama, but at least the twins and their annoying voices are gone.
